VegaStream announces enhanced functionality for FXS with Cisco Unified Communications Manager
VegaStream has introduced some new features on its FXS gateways to provide a very cost effective method of connecting analogue telephones to CUCM.
VegaStream is presently unique in providing true emulation of a Cisco IP-Phone thereby providing those features not normally available when setting up FXS as a SIP device in CUCM.
Also this reduces the quantity of DLU (Cisco Licenses) required from three to two per FXS device.
Additional features supported include Call/Group Pick Up, Meet me Conferencing, ‘Ad hoc’ Conferencing & Executive Intrude.
